Lately, I’ve been, missing, Cold -
Weather and I never, thought I would miss it as much as I,
Do now and if somehow I could make my way back there,
Back where, we shared, a roof and rain over our heads.
Now I can’t give my love to you
When you’de take my heart, break it in two,
Leave half with me and take half with you-
Cause what good would that do?
If I had half a heart,
so I could feel the pain,
of the missing part?
I miss my window, watching the skylines come and go,
The snow and you know, there’s always the novelty,
When we first find a place we’ve never been before,
And new doors open to new floors,
and so on,
and so forth.
Now I can’t give my love to you
When you’de take my heart, break it in two,
Leave half with me and take half with you-
And what good would that do?
If I had half a heart,
so I could feel the pain,
of the missing part?
A guitar-driven, raucous 6th record, made as they finished up their last LP, Carrier, in order to stay on the right epic path. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 3, 2015
